In 1998, Brian Laffler and Jim Knorr founded Returnable Packaging Resource, Inc. with the vision of providing lasting value to manufacturing companies through full-service returnable packaging products and services.

Throughout our history, RPR has protected some of the most advanced parts in the automotive industry for companies such as Honda, Mercedes, BMW, Hyundai, and other major automotive manufacturers. Additionally, RPR has delivered complete returnable packaging systems and supplied new containers to manufacturers in industries related to food service, air travel, construction and home appliances.

Founded and headquartered in Greenville, South Carolina, RPR began operations with one salesperson serving the entire state of South Carolina. Following success in South Carolina, RPR now has six sales representatives offering our solutions and services throughout the southeastern United States, with offices located in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Alabama.

Standing apart from its competitors, RPR prides itself on being environmentally “green”, touting this accomplishment as being a large part of the company’s foundation from its inception back in 1998 before being “green” was widely recognized. 

And, as if environmentally friendly weren’t enough, RPR also strives to be a good steward of its clients’ packaging, as well as their budgets!
